I have enjoyed a varied career spanning engineering, data science, music and education. Becoming a parent 10 years ago reignited my passion for teaching music, particularly its ability to foster connection and confidence, alongside its well-documented benefits for supporting early learning and academic success.

Whether your child is picking up a brass instrument for the first time or preparing for their next AMEB exam, I tailor lessons to support each unique student's goals and interests.

I teach from my home in Gordon, and I'm also available to travel to you.

My approach

I take a genuine interest in each student as an individual. By fostering a positive and engaging environment,

I believe students learn best when they feel safe to explore and challenge themselves musically. Each lesson is shaped around the student's unique needs and learning style, with the aim of developing not only technical skill, but also confidence, independence, and a lasting connection to music.

I teach students across the Upper North Shore, including Gordon, Killara, Lindfield, St Ives, Pymble, Roseville, Turramurra, Wahroonga, and Hornsby. Get in touch if you're not sure and we can discuss.

Yes. I teach from my home in Gordon and I'm also available to travel to you within the Upper North Shore.

Lessons run for 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Most beginner students start with 30-minute lessons.

Lessons are typically available on Saturday mornings and after school on weekdays. Specific times depend on current availability, so get in touch and we'll find a time that works for you.
